Why? This isn't a huge holiday, so why take them? 'Cause I felt like it, and my kids look so yummy dressed up! Photo Backdrop Boy vest/bowtie/Dress: Sewing Pattern, plaid fabric, clover fabric .
I had such a great time working on these decorations, I can't even tell you! I have been wanting to make these for at least 2 Valentines, and this year I decided to go for it. Step 1: Create a heart to trace. I found an image of a conversation heart online, then created a stencil with my Cricut Machine.
I LOOOOVE Halloween! One of my favorite things about it is dressing up--especially with my babies. My daughter has been into PJ Masks the last couple years and insisted on being Owlette, so PJ Masks it was! Perfect fo the 3 of us. I used an old animal costume pattern I had used before to make Cat Boy.
I was really racking my brain for months trying to come up with the perfect theme for my 2 year old fella, because this year was his GOLDEN BIRTHDAY! I thought of things like Willy Wonka, Goldrush, pot of gold, but I kept thinking and thinking and it hit me-Mr T Party. Not only does my Grayson make the biggest grouch face when I take his picture, but he is sturdy as all get out for his age-plus Mr T is known for all his gold bling-it was perfect. I also decided it would be extra fun to make it 80's theme, if people would be willing to dress up.
My little FOUR YEAR OLD (how did that happen?!) is obsessed with all things My Little Pony/Pegasus/Unicorn. She asked for a pony party last year, but I had already planned a Sea Party. Lucky for me, her love has just continued through to this year! I made the invitation, using some free Shutterstock download images, with of course, My Little Pony font.
It is that time of year again! I was so excited to celebrate my babies and their pals this year, in a bigger and better Easter Egg hunt. Back in March, I started putting together the guest take home bags and stuffed the numbered eggs with the appropriate prizes. We stuffed the take home bags with playdough, a sligshot toy, and a few candies that couldn't fit in your standard Easter egg (cough cough, suckers and Kit Kats).
